Itinerary in Chamonix
Please pay special attention to each evening's theme so you can pack accordingly.
For budgeting purposes: dinners on Friday and Saturday are already paid for, as well as lodging in Chamonix, breakfast groceries and some provisions in the chalet. We have arranged transportation (~75 minutes each way) for most people from the airport and will collect ~€80 RT per person at a later date.
Friday January 12
Arrive in Chamonix
Most of us are arriving into Geneva at 11:20am.
Emily will lead 16 passengers to the Transfer Service and Judy will take a rental SUV with any stragglers.
For those needing alternate transportation, there are plenty of taxis at the airport.
Check is in at 4pm, the resort will know closer to the date if they can accommodate early check in.
Luckily there is a spa and restaurant on premises, a cute town nearby, and a cable car just 15 minutes walking.
Dinner is 7pm @ the resort restaurant La Table

Saturday January 13
Explore Chamonix
For the hardcore skiers, have at 'em! For the rest of us, there is lots to explore in this beautiful town.
Booking transportation into town is €50 one way for a taxi so recommend sharing. Also, use the hotel to call one in advance of when you need one. There is also a free bus into town from the nearby ski lift which is a 15 minute walk from the resort.
Everyone is free to explore as they please until dinner:

To be cost effective, we have arranged three 8-seater vans to take us to dinner from the hotel (dep ~6:30pm).

Sunday January 14
Skiing
Many of us plan to ski on Sunday to easily glide right into the evening festivities. For beginners, Les Houches is considered the friendliest of the mountains and accessible from the resort. Info is in the Skiing tab.
Everyone is encouraged to spend the day as they please until our group après ski in town:

Monday January 15
Leave Chamonix
The shuttles will leave at 7am from our resort to take us back to Geneva Airport for our 10:15am flights to London.
